Nurse Jenny Nagle
Jenny Nagle is the Practice Nurse at Patrick Street Medical Centre.
Her hours are:
- Monday: 8.30-16.30
- Wednesday: 8.30-12.30
- Thursday: 8.30-16.30
Jenny was born in Melbourne Australia and has been living in Cork since 1998 and with this practice since 2009. She has worked in many areas of nursing in Ireland, the UK and her native Australia.
Jenny completed her nurse training in the UK in 1997 as an RGN with an MSc in Professional and Policy Studies. Since then she has gained experience in research, elderly care, general nursing, vaccinations, accident and emergency, travel and occupational health.
She has completed a diploma in tropical nursing, the TREC travel course. She has also undergone post graduate diabetic training through UCC and many other updates relative to practice nursing. She is an active member of the Irish Practice Nurse Association in Cork.

- Travel Vaccinations and advice
- Seasonal Vaccinations i.e.Flu
- Other Injections i.e. B12, Iron
- Ante-natal Visits (with Doctor in attendance)
- Baby Checks (with Doctor in attendance)
- Blood Tests
- Smear Tests
- Stitch Removal
- Dressings
- Venesection
- Health Advice i.e. diabetes, asthma, weight loss, smoking
